Types of Car Gears

Automotive gears are an important part of the transmission system, used to transmit the power output from the engine to the wheels. According to their use and shape, automotive gears can be divided into the following types:

Main reduction gear: The main reduction gear is one of the core components in the vehicle transmission system, mainly used to reduce the speed of the engine and transmit it to the wheels. It's usually a large gear that fits at the end of the gearbox.

Differential Gears: Another important component in a vehicle's drivetrain, the differential is used to allow the wheels to spin independently for situations such as cornering. Differential gears usually include synchronizer gears and planetary gears, etc., and are used to transmit the power of the engine to the wheels.

Transmission Gears: A transmission is a device used in a vehicle's transmission system to change the speed and torque of a vehicle, which contains multiple gears, including gear shafts, gear teeth, synchronizers, and clutches. They work together to transfer the engine's power to the wheels.

Camshaft Gear: The camshaft gear is the part inside the engine that controls the intake and exhaust of your car. These are usually small gears that are located inside the engine.

There are many kinds of automotive gear, each of which undertakes different transmission tasks, and together constitute the transmission system of the vehicle, so that the vehicle can run efficiently and smoothly.
